More than 120 scholars in quantum information joined the meeting. Among them, quite a number asked about the recruitment procedure and showed strong interests in doing research in China. Some young physicists also took the interview for openings at CQI.

The meeting attracts many scholars.

The Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics (DAMOP) was founded in 1943, and was the first division of the American Physical Society. It attracts hundreds of physicists every year. This year, Prof. Duan and Mr. Chong Zu, IIIS gruaduate student gave invited talks and Prof. Kim presented research progress in ion trap through posters, which attracted many people to know more about IIIS and CQI.
