BEIJING, June 21——The Tsinghua-MIT-CUHK Research Center for Theoretical Computer Science was inaugurated on June 21, 2010 in Beijing. The Research Center is the first joint venture of its kind that MIT has established in China. It is also the first established by a Chinese University with a top American counterpart in the field of theoretical computer science. The co-directors are Professor Andrew Chi-Chih Yao, A.M. Turing Award laureate of the year 2000 from Tsinghua University and Professor Silvio Micali from MIT.
