The presentation meeting of IIIS Graduate Program took place on April 7 as the enrollment of Grade 2012 graduate students among Tsinghua third-year undergraduates kicked off. IIIS Dean Prof. Yao and faculty, postdoctoral researchers, students were presented at the meeting hosted by Deputy Dean Prof. Amy Wang. Junior students from Yao Class Grade 2008, CS Department, Department of Mathematical Sciences, Department of Physics and etc joined the meeting.

Prof. Yao introduces IIIS faculty and research areas.

Prof. Yao first introduced the faculty and research of the Institute. He said that IIIS is building up an international faculty team with an excellent Ph.D. program under which junior faculty also supervise PhD candidates.

Around 40 people join the presentation meeting.

Dr. John Steinberger, Dr. Kevin Kevin Matulef together with others introduced graduate courses, research group, activities, research work and plan on quantum information of the Institute. Prof. Christos Papadimitriou also paid tribute to IIIS led by Prof. Yao and encouraged young students to explore their potential at IIIS.

Many students handed over their application forms after the meeting. And the enrolment interview will take place in late May.
