IIIS Adjunct Professor Appointment Ceremony and Turing Lecture II of Tsinghua University took place on September 29, 2011. Dean Prof. Andrew Yao, CC Yao Professor Luming Duan, Visiting Professor David Culler together with faculty, Yao Class students, graduate students joined the ceremony hosted by Deputy Dean Prof. Amy Wang.
Prof. Yao presented the Award of Adjunct Professor to Dr. Wei Chen, Dr. Shimin Hu and Dr. Jianhua Feng and Award of Adjunct Associate Professor to Dr. Thomas Moscibroda and Dr. Yu Yu.

Following the ceremony, Prof. David Culler from UC Berkeley gave a Turing Lecture talk entitled Enabling a Sustainable Energy Infrastructure - a role for Information Technology.
