Multi-qubit quantum computing with 2-d array of Cs atoms in optical potentials

Abstract:


Rydberg blockade has enabled the CNOT gate with two strong interacting neutral alkali atoms and single photon production. It has also been proposed to implement CkNOT gate with multi-control qubits to realize the Grover search algorithm. It holds promise for studies of multi-qubit quantum computer. I will present the progress of the current experimental research and the novel technique we will employ to improve the fidelity of the quantum gate operation.
