标题:The New Interference Measurement Model and Application for Indoor Localization

 Interference model is the crucial factor for designing MAC and routing protocols in wireless sensor network (WSN). In particular for practical WSN system, since the complex environment and interference situation,adopting the more accurate physical interference model such as SINR model can capture the wireless realities. The basement of the physical interference model is the precise interference measurement. So the interference measure-ment has become a key wireless sensor network technology, and the interference information has been used for a variety of important protocol and application. With the help of the precise interference measurement, we can design MAC and routing protocols with high performance for sensor network, even apply for some important applications, for example indoor localization. In this paper, we give a novel RSSI-based interference measurement model which is based on the interference additive property to repre-sent the interference information in WSN environment. Meanwhile pointing to the new model, two solutions for getting the precise interference values are proposed. We employ this model for an important application which is the Fingerprint-based indoor localization. Generally, the matching model is more considered in Fingerprint-based localization, but in this paper we focus on the constructing more accurate fingerprint database by utilizing the new interference measurement model and its solutions.
