The interview for students who apply for transfer to Yao Class took place on April 26. IIIS Dean Prof. Andrew Chi-Chih Yao hosted the interview with the presence of Deputy Dean Prof. Amy Yuexuan Wang and faculty members.
Yao Class program accepts application from freshmen of School of Information Science and Technology and School of Sciences, Tsinghua University. Applicants’ English proficiency, knowledge in Physics and Mathematics and their participation of Yao Class courses were evaluated in the interview.

Yao Class program has entered a new era in talent cultivation with the launching of Tsinghua Xuetang Talents Program on April 14. It welcome participants of Olympic Winter Camp, Tsinghua University Independent Enrollment, top freshmen and students transferred from other departments.
