Yao Class Student Attends SOSP 2011

Dong Zhou from Yao Class Grade 2008 joined the 23rd ACM Symposium on Operating Systems Principles (SOSP) held in Cascais, Portugal during October 23 to 26.
The biennial ACM Symposium on Operating Systems Principles is the world's premier forum for researchers, developers, programmers, and teachers of computer systems technology. Academic and industrial participants present research and experience papers that cover the full range of theory and practice of computer systems software. Dong Zhou’s paper “Software fault isolation with API integrity and multi-principal modules”, co-worked with Yandong Mao, Haogang Chen, Xi Wang, Nickolai Zeldovich, and M. Frans Kaashoek is among the 28 accepted papers this year. He worked on the topic when he as an exchange student at CSAIL, MIT under Tsinghua-MIT-CUHK Research Center for Theoretical Computer Science in Spring 2011.
Dong Zhou listened to presentations, interacted with scholars from Yale University, Columbia University and etc, and gained some exposure into the latest research topics. He also met with former Yao Class student Huayang Guo at the symposium.
