Prof. Amy Wang, Assoc. Prof. Xiaoming Sun, Assis. Prof. Meizhi Hu together with other faculty members, postdoctoral research fellows and students of ITCS went for an outing at Miyun, the northeast suburban county of Beijing on May 28.   

ITCS members joined other visitors in a variety of games and entertainment after dinner at the Wuling Mountain Villa. People enjoyed themselves and had great fun in bowling, swimming, singing and playing table tennis.

On May 29, early in the morning as the sun shined brightly, ITCS members paid a visit to the Wuling Mountain Nature Reserve. It is situated in the northwestern part of the Xinglong County, Hebei Province and devoted to the protection of temperate forest ecosystems. Everyone enjoyed the great scenery in the park which is well-known for sheer cliffs, precipices, deep valleys, lingering clouds, springs and diversified species residing there.

After the close touch with nature, ITCS members took a group photo by the Wuling Lake and headed back to downtown Beijing. Everyone will surely cherish the memory of such a refreshing tour.
