ITCSC-INC Winter School 2016 was opened with a welcome speech by Academician Andrew Chi-Chih YAO, Turing Award Winner, IIIS Dean, and CUHK Distinguished Professor-at-large, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, on the morning of January 25, 2016. This year’s winter school brought together more than 40 students from Yao Class of Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Taiwan University, and Indian institute of technology, etc.

The five-day program included 3 invited lectures by Prof. Andrej Bogdanov, Prof. Pascal Vontobel and Prof. Chandra Nair from CUHK, and one discussion, which gave the students an insight into computer science.

Since 2008, more than 300 Yao Class students have been offered the opportunity to attend ITCSC-INC Winter School, where the students get a chance to develop their academic interest and study difference subjects in depth.
