Introduction

The IIIS Graduate Program aims to nurture top-class creative students and to achieve academic excellence competitive with the top ten computer science departments in the world. Its Academic Program, involving high-end intellectual research by faculty members and promoting the transfer of technology, has been formulated based on advanced teaching methods from MIT, Stanford and Princeton.

The Program emphasizes on the theoretical foundations required to help students obtain a solid theoretical basis and provides a platform for practical experience and academic exchange. Great attention has also been focused on international exchange activities for graduate students in order for them to maintain research continuity and increase connections with their counterparts at world-renowned intuitions.

Currently, there are 147 graduate students at the Institute, among them 124 doctoral candidates and 23 master candidates.
